1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use the weeTutor website (weetutors.com) and submit enquiries through it. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. About weeTutor
weeTutor connects Scottish students with tutors for one-to-one and small group sessions, primarily online. This website provides information and a way to request tuition or apply to become a tutor. The separate weeTutor portal is used for confirmed bookings and session management.
3. Website use
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information in forms and communications
- Use the site lawfully and not attempt to disrupt or misuse it
- Not copy, scrape, or redistribute site content without permission
4. Enquiries and bookings
Submitting a request form or contacting us does not create a binding contract for tutoring. A session is confirmed only after weeTutor and you agree terms, pricing, and scheduling. We reserve the right to decline enquiries where we cannot provide a suitable match.
5. Pricing
Prices shown on the website are indicative starting rates for 75-minute sessions. Final pricing depends on level, subject, and session type. We will confirm pricing before your first confirmed session. See our tuition page for current guide prices.
6. Cancellations and rescheduling
Reasonable notice is required to reschedule or cancel a confirmed session. Changes within 24 hours of a session start time may be restricted. Specific rules are confirmed when your booking is agreed and managed through the weeTutor portal. Contact us if you need help.
7. Tutor applications
Applying to become a tutor does not guarantee approval. weeTutor reviews applications and decides whether to onboard tutors based on qualifications, experience, and fit with our service.
8. Intellectual property
Website content, branding, logos, and materials are owned by weeTutor or used with permission. You may not reproduce them for commercial use without written consent.
9. Disclaimer
We work to provide accurate information on this site, but content is for general guidance. weeTutor does not guarantee specific exam results or grade outcomes. Tutoring supports learning; results depend on many factors including student effort and attendance.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, weeTutor is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot be limited by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
11. Third-party links
Our site may link to external services (for example WhatsApp or the portal). We are not responsible for third-party websites or their content.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. By submitting forms, you also agree to that policy.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts, unless mandatory consumer rights require otherwise.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms. Check the "Last updated" date above.
15. Contact
