FAQ
Common questions
Straight answers about pricing, booking, and how weeTutor works.
How much does tutoring cost?
One-to-one sessions start from £30 and small group sessions from £24.99 per 75-minute session. Exact pricing depends on level and subject. See our full pricing guide. Primary P1–P7 pricing is available on request.
Is tutoring online or in-person?
Most weeTutor sessions are online across Scotland, so your child can learn from home with a secure video link via Zoom. In-person may be available in some areas — tell us your preference on the request form and we will confirm what is possible.
How do I book a session?
Fill in our short request form with year group, subject, and session type. We aim to reply within 24 hours, match you with a suitable tutor, and confirm your first session. You do not need to pick a tutor yourself.
What levels and subjects do you cover?
We support Scottish students from P1–P7 through to Advanced Higher. Core subjects include Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Teaching is aligned to Qualifications Scotland and Curriculum for Excellence. See tuition levels for detail.
Testimonials
Real results. Real students.
My daughter was really struggling with Higher Maths. After just four sessions she went from an F to a C and her confidence completely transformed.
Parent of Higher student
I couldn't get my head around essay structure for N5 English. The tutor broke it down so clearly. I ended up with an A in my prelim.
S4 student, Edinburgh
The small group sessions were brilliant — like a focused study group but actually productive. Half the price of one-to-one and just as effective.
Parent of S3 student
We tried two other tutoring agencies before weeTutor. The difference is night and day — sessions are actually planned around the Qualifications Scotland spec.
Parent of N5 student
My tutor spotted exactly where I was going wrong in calculus within one session. Wish I'd started months earlier.
